SCOPE OF APPLICATION
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all accommodation contracts concluded between the guest and Wohlfühlhotel KERSCHDORFER.

ADULTS ONLY
Our hotel is an adults-only hotel and exclusively accommodates guests aged 16 years and over. By making a booking, the guest confirms that all arriving persons meet this requirement.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Check-in: from 4:00 p.m.
Check-out: until 11:00 a.m.
Check-in after 6:00 p.m. is only possible by prior arrangement.

The stay begins on the day of arrival with the GENUSS.Afternoon at 3:00 p.m. and ends on the day of departure with the GENUSS.Breakfast at 10:00 a.m.
Room use is governed by the stated check-in and check-out times. Included services (e.g. GENUSS.Afternoon and GENUSS.Breakfast) are regulated independently of these times.

CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT / BOOKING
By making a booking, the guest submits an offer to conclude an accommodation contract.
The accommodation contract becomes binding only upon written booking confirmation by the hotel.

Verbal agreements or assurances are only valid if confirmed in writing by the hotel.

DEPOSIT / PAYMENT TERMS
To secure the booking, a deposit must be paid within 14 days of booking confirmation. The amount of the deposit is stated in the booking confirmation.

Alternatively, the booking may be secured by providing a valid credit card. By doing so, the guest expressly agrees that any applicable cancellation fees may be charged to this credit card.
The remaining balance is payable on site or in advance via the online payment portal.

PARKING
One underground parking space per room is available free of charge.
Reservation period: from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival until 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
Extended use is only possible subject to availability and prior agreement.
Additional parking spaces can be booked on the day of arrival, subject to availability (EUR 15.00 per day).

SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Lactose-free products are available at the breakfast buffet.
Gluten-free products are only available if requested at the time of booking.

VOUCHERS
Personalized vouchers are non-transferable.
Cash redemption, extensions, or refunds are excluded.
Value vouchers do not expire.
The hotel assumes no liability for loss, theft, or misuse.
Vouchers may only be redeemed for direct bookings at Wohlfühlhotel KERSCHDORFER unless expressly agreed otherwise.
If a cancelled stay is compensated by re-letting the room, the hotel may, at its sole discretion, issue a value voucher in the corresponding amount instead of refunding the deposit. The voucher is valid for one year from the date of issue and cannot be redeemed for cash. There is no legal entitlement to such a voucher. Bonus, goodwill, or discount vouchers issued by the hotel are valid until revoked, unless stated otherwise. Redemption of cooperation or barter vouchers is subject to request and availability.

PETS
Pets are permitted in selected rooms with prior reservation (EUR 15.00 per night).Pets are not allowed in the wellness or fitness areas.
The pet owner is liable for any damage or disturbances caused. The hotel reserves the right to charge an additional cleaning fee in case of increased cleaning effort.

SMOKING POLICY
The entire hotel is a non-smoking property.
Smoking is only permitted on balconies or the hotel terrace. In case of non-compliance, the hotel reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee of EUR 350.00 per room.

PRICES & PAYMENT CONDITIONS
All prices stated on the website and in offers are “from” prices and may vary depending on season, occupancy, and demand.
All prices are per person and night, plus the applicable local tourist tax (currently EUR 2.60 per person and night).
Price advantages or special offers can only be used once per booking.
Unused services are not refundable.
Upon publication of a new price list, all previous price lists become invalid. All price information is subject to change. Obvious calculation or typographical errors and mistakes entitle the hotel to contest the contract.

Wednesday: 08:00 – 12:00 & 12:30 – 18:00
Thursday: 08:00 – 12:00 & 12:30 – 18:00
Friday: 08:00 – 11:30 & 14:00 – 18:00
Saturday: 08:00 – 11:30 & 14:00 – 18:00
Sunday: 08:00 – 11:30 & 14:00 – 18:00

Outside these hours, there is no entitlement to continuous personal on-site service.
Internal telephone availability is provided daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. An emergency contact is available for emergencies.

WELLNESS & FITNESS AREA
The wellness area is open daily from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The fitness area is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
All facilities are used at the guest’s own risk and in compliance with the posted house and safety rules. Instructions given by staff must be followed.

CANCELLATION BY THE GUEST
Cancellations are only valid if made in writing.
The decisive factor is the date the cancellation is received by the hotel.

Up to 61 days before arrival: free of charge
16 to 60 days before arrival: 40% of the total booking amount
8 to 15 days before arrival: 70% of the total booking amount
From 7 days before arrival: 90% of the total costs

No-shows, late arrivals, or early departures will be charged at 100% of the agreed total price, unless the room can be re-let.

If a room released due to cancellation can be re-let in whole or in part, the hotel may, at its sole discretion, issue a value voucher equal to the difference between the charged cancellation fee and the proceeds from re-letting. The voucher is valid for one year from the date of issue, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash. There is no legal entitlement to the issuance of a voucher.

It is expressly stated that cancellation fees constitute liquidated damages. The hotel reserves the right to claim compensation for higher actual damages incurred.

CHANGE OF BOOKING
A one-time rescheduling of the reservation is possible up to 21 days before arrival within the same season. Any price differences will be charged.
In the event of partial cancellations or changes in occupancy, the above cancellation conditions apply.

CANCELLATION BY THE HOTEL
The hotel is entitled to terminate the accommodation contract unilaterally for objectively justified reasons (e.g. force majeure, unforeseen structural damage, official orders) up to no later than three months before arrival.

FORCE MAJEURE
If the accommodation contract cannot be fulfilled due to force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, pandemics, official measures, power or water outages), claims for damages are excluded.
Payments already made will be refunded on a pro rata basis insofar as no services were rendered.

HOUSE RULES
The hotel exercises its right of domicile.
In the event of serious or repeated violations of house rules, disturbance of the peace, inappropriate behavior, property damage, or harassment of other guests or staff, the hotel is entitled to terminate the accommodation contract with immediate effect.
In such cases, there is no entitlement to a refund of payments already made. Unused services are deemed agreed and will be charged accordingly.

LIABILITY
The hotel is only liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence.
Liability for slight negligence is excluded, except in cases of personal injury. Liability for items brought into the hotel is limited to the statutory provisions (§§ 970 et seq. ABGB).

TRAVEL CANCELLATION INSURANCE
We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance to cover cancellation costs in the event of accident, illness, or death. The premium is approximately 5% of the travel price. We are happy to arrange this for you.

PAYMENT METHODS
We recommend cash payment (EUR) or payment by MAESTRO card. Accepted credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, AMEX. Advance bank transfer is possible.

ROOM CATEGORIES
Room categories, but not specific room numbers or floors, can be guaranteed.
Double rooms for single use are available subject to availability. The single occupancy surcharge ranges from 50% to 90%, depending on the season.

DATA PROTECTION
Personal data is processed in accordance with the hotel’s privacy policy, available on the website.
If the guest provides their telephone number during the booking process, they consent to being contacted by the hotel before and during their stay for organizational purposes (e.g. arrival information, queries, short-term notices, or service information), including via the WhatsApp messaging service.
This consent may be withdrawn at any time without giving reasons. Data will not be used for advertising purposes.

GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
Austrian law shall apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
The place of jurisdiction shall be the competent court at the hotel’s registered office, insofar as legally permissible.

SUPPLEMENTARY PROVISIONS
The right of withdrawal pursuant to § 18 para. 1 no. 10 FAGG does not apply.
In addition, the “General Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Industry (AGBH)” in their currently valid version apply (currently as of 15 November 2006).
